We face many choices in our lives, but as internal communicators there’s an equally hard call to make these days. Office 365 or Workplace by Facebook?
Our world seems divided between those who love the social engagement features that Workplace provides and those who recognise the power of Microsoft’s enterprise platforms.
But as our feature in this issue of AQ explains, the opportunity exists for switched on corporates to use the channel matrix to best effect, driving performance efficiency and improving the employee experience. The choice of technology certainly offers communicators the opportunity to reach people in new ways that would not have seemed possible even five years ago.
Of course, content remains key to success. Using our insight as communicators to identify the needs of our audiences, and then combining killer content with the right technology can generate fantastic results. But only if that mix of content, insight and technology is applied correctly.
